It's been over two years since we started started shooting Morning Funeral, and we're very proud to announce that it is available to own!  We're still seeking VOD distribution options, but as of July 26th, 2011 you can own your own copy on DVD.

The DVD was mastered from a beautiful-looking 5.5gb MP4 file-- with much more picture detail than we achieved on the festival release.  We are pressing on high-quality DVD+R dual-layer discs with the following bonus features:

• Our director's commentary, wherein we detail the entire process of shooting a no-budget feature film in our hometown of Erie PA.  We discuss casting, production logistics, locations, and many challenges we faced.
• Commentary by composer Tony Longworth, where he both discusses his creative process and offers his own "film geek" perspective on the film.
• An interview with actress Louise Wiest about her character Nora Beckman.
• The original audition tapes with actors Don E. Kirsch, Michael Weiss, Jeff Schroeder, Louise Wiest, and Kirsten McCain-- filmed about a month before shooting began!
• Two deleted scenes.

Nick and I both stand by the final version of the film as captured on this DVD and confidently call it our final cut.  If you have seen the film previously either at a festival or screener copy, this version is much higher quality, leaner, and with more color correction.
